Mostly Used For: Calendula oil is obtained from the maceration of dried calendula flowers in organic deodorised sunflower oil. Calendula oil is a potent anti-inflammatory and skin regenerative. Soothing to the skin, it brings it suppleness and softness. It is the carrier oil of choice for treating all kind of burns (first degree burns, radiotherapy burns, sunburns) as it will soothe inflammation and help regenerate the tissues and facilitate scarring. Also indicated for insect bites, skin irritations and itches, razor burns. Calendula oil is a good base for delivering treatments for eczema, psoriasis and bed sores. Perfect for baby skin care and for all sensitive skin. May be used to treat cracked nipples from breastfeeding.

Calendula oil is traditionally diluted to 10-25% in a blend of carrier oils. May be used undiluted. This is a rich oil. Leaves an oily feel to the skin. 

Precautions: Do not take orally. May stain clothes. Ensure maximum absorption before putting clothes on.
