Mostly Used For: Carrot oil is obtained from the maceration of dried carrot root slices in organic deodorised sunflower oil. Carrot oil obtained from maceration is rich in Beta-Carotene, a potent antioxidant and photoprotective for the skin. It protects the skin against UV induced skin damage. Carrot oil gives the skin a healthy glow, helps the tanning process and sustain the tan. As antioxidant, carrot oil is anti-aging and improves skin elasticity. It is a perfect carrier oil for dull and tired skin. Can also be used for wound healing, dermatitis, scar healing and itching.

Carrot oil is traditionally diluted to 5-25% in a blend of carrier oils. This is a rich oil. Leaves an oily feel to the skin. 

Precautions: Do not take orally. May stain clothes. Ensure maxiumum absorption before putting clothes on.
