Mostly Used For: Castor oil is an excellent emollient and is widely used in the manufacturing of lip balms as it allows good dispersion of pigments and gives a beautiful glow. It is also used in the manufacturing of soap for it gives a rich and creamy lather. In aromatherapy, Catsor oil is mostly used in hair care for its fortifying properties. It is an excellent carrier oil for hair loss treatments as well as brittle and tired hair. Fortifying to the nails and eyelashes. A good oil for treating brown spots on the face and hands, as well as pregnancy melasma.

Castor oil can be used undiluted. However, due to its heavy and viscous texture, it is usually diluted to 10-50% in a carrier oils blend. This is a viscous oil. Slow to absorb.
