Mostly Used For: Coconut oil is colourless and liquid at 30C and above. Whereas it is white and solid below that temperature. It is an emollient and skin softening oil with a rich texture but a smooth and melting touch. It is easily absorbed by the skin. It is a multi-purpose oil suitable for all skin types. Coconut oil is particularly appreciated in hair care as it has an affinity with the hair fibres and binds very well. Bringing shine, nourishment and protection to the hair. Coconut is also known to have antimicrobial properties and is therefore a good choice as a base for minor skin infections, wound care and some forms of dermatitis. Virgin Coconut oil is a saturated oil that is suitable for cooking.

Coconut oil may be used undiluted or diluted in a carrier oils blend.
