Mostly Used For: Also called "Black Cumin" or "Black Seed", nigella seed oil is one of the oldest remedies in traditional medicine. The oil of nigella seeds is known to be antimicrobial and antioxidant and can therefore be used as a base for skin infections treatments (acne, fungal infections). It also has anti-inflammatory properties that make it valuable in joints and muscles aches and pains. Its anti-inflammatory properties can also be used in treating skin inflammations like eczema and psoriasis and in the management of light burns. Like all vegetal oils, Nigella oil is emollient and nourishing to the skin.

Usually used blended with other carrier oils at up to 30%. Nigella oil is slightly oily to the skin. 

Precautions: Do not apply to the eye contour and mucosa. Do not take orally during pregnancy and breast feeding.
