Mostly Used For: Traditionally used to address depression and frigidity, patchouli is a major essential oil in anxiety treatment as well as challenging behaviours and hyperactivity. Brings centering and grounding, a sense of protection. Also valuable in skincare for anti-aging, inflamed and irritated skin, acne, wrinkles, inflamed scars, cellulite. Efficient mosquito repellent. Intensively used in perfumery as a fixative to hold other essential oils and make them last longer.

Precautions: Caution in oral use for patients under anticoagulant medication, with bleeding disorders, haemophilia, and before surgery.
