Mostly Used For: St John's Wort oil is obtained from the maceration of fresh flowering tops of the plant in organic olive oil. St John's Wort oil is a strong anti-inflammatory and a precious tool in the management of joint and muscle inflammations. It is also used to help alleviate pain related to these conditions. Also soothing and calming to the skin, St John's Wort oil is used in the treatment of burns, sunburns as well as many skin irritations. This oil possesses vulnerary properties: helps the healing of damaged tissue, wounds and ulcers.

Usually blended at 5-25% with other carrier oils. It may also be used undiluted. St John's Wort oil leaves a greasy feel to the skin as it is macerated in olive oil.

Precautions: Do not take orally. May cause phototoxicity. Avoid use when exposed to the sun.
