Mostly Used For: Sweet Almond oil is probably the most commonly used carrier oil for its emollient properties. It is an excellent massage oil as it absorbs slowly into the skin. Nourishing to the skin, it is recommended for dry and sensitive skin. It is also a good anti-inflammatory in cases of dermatitis and eczema, as well as burns, cracked skin and stretchmarks. Sweet Almond oil is used for hair care for dry hair, split ends and curly hair.

May be used undiluted or blended with other carrier oils. Sweet Almond oil is a wet oil and absorbs slowly into the skin.

Precautions: Not recommended for individuals with allergies to nuts.
